How it works

User points to a screen object by first striking a key of a screen objects set:

A-Z, 0-9 - all words on screen starting with the corresponding letter or number
F2 - window corners
F3 - scroll arrows and selection box arrows
F4 - window captions; minimize, maximize and close window buttons
F5 - toolbar buttons and  combo boxes
F6 - taskbar elements
F7 - images on screen
F8 - editable fields
F9 - Internet links

A graphical help is provided by F1 button, that shows all keys responsible for non-text object sets (F2-F7) attached to the corresponding sets.

Indexing "hint" tags are then displayed next to all screen elements of the corresponding screen object set. Indexed screen elements are derived from the visible content on the screen, irrespective of which applications are currently running.

The user then strikes the key with the index tag associated with the requested screen object and the cursor jumps to the corresponding object. With the cursor positioned, any mouse command can be emulated with the dedicated keys.
